PRESIDENT/CHIEF MANAGER
Lawrence Pribyl
As one of the company founders, Lawrence Pribyl has been with M&P Utilities since 1973. Mr. Pribyl has built the company to a $100 Million plus, full service, utility construction company. His thirty-year tenure has included the management of numerous telecommunications, utility, right of way, water, and gas projects. Mr. Pribyl started MP Nexlevel, LLC in 2002 and continues to provide his customers with the service, quality, hard work and dedication that he and his staff take great pride in.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
Tim Pribyl
As one of the company founders, Tim Pribyl has been with M&P Utilities from the beginning. While he now resides as the company’s vice president he has held positions ranging from laborer to general manager. Since 1990, he has been responsible for the estimating, production and profitability of each job. Mr. Pribyl is also responsible for acquiring the equipment necessary to ensure adequate completion for each job on a timely basis.
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Rob Pribyl
Mr. Pribyl has been with the company since 1989. Starting out as a laborer, he moved up to foreman, held the position of project manager and is now Vice-President of Operations. His primary responsibility is oversite of major projects. He is responsible for estimating, scheduling, job profitability, collections and client relations. Mr. Pribyl’s experience is comprised of REA/RUS, Alternate Energy, and Communications work with contract sizes from a couple hundred thousand to $10-15 million dollars. Mr. Pribyl has an associate's degree in Sales and Management from St. Cloud Technical College.
REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
Paul Decker
Since 1982 Mr. Decker has been in the utility construction industry and he has managed contracts in excess of $8 million. He has performed in various positions from laborer to division manager. He is responsible for estimating, scheduling, job profitability, collections and client relations for the clients within his division. Mr. Decker’s market concentration is mainly in the broadband and fiber optic sectors. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Morris in 1982 with a degree in education.
REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
Ron Rassat
Starting in the industry in 1977 as a laborer, Mr. Rassat is now a Regional Vice-President. He is responsible for estimating, scheduling, job profitability, collections and client relations for the clients within his division. His main area of expertise is in the municipal power market. Mr. Rassat also serves as the equipment and fleet supervisor ensuring scheduling and maintenance of equipment.
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING - SOUTHERN REGION
J.C. Evans
Mr. Evans has over 30 years of broad-based hands-on sales/marketing management experience in the telecommunications and power industries. Prior to joining MP Nexlevel Mr. Evans spent over five years with CDI Telecom as Director of Sales . Before joining CDI, Mr. Evans spent 12 years with Alcatel and Northern Telecom where he was responsible for developing and managing a distributor sales program for their transmission products. During that time he had also been responsible for working with the RUS to gain new product acceptance and with GTE to obtain product standardization. Prior to Northern Telecom, Mr. Evans spent 10 years in the power industry where he had worked as an engineer designing safety systems for nuclear power plants and had managed an Electrical/I&C backfit design-engineering group for an engineering consultant. Mr. Evans received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and also received an MBA from Lynchburg College.
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING - NORTHERN REGION
Don Zwilling
Mr. Zwilling has 20 years experience in the communications industry. Mr. Zwilling has worked in various capacities from cable installer to Technology Manager. He joined MP Nexlevel in 1999 to help develop the technology group. With the technology group well under way Mr. Zwilling moved to his current position with the sales department which allows him to further promote the many changing and growing abilities of MP Nexlevel.
SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR FOR STIMULUS AND NATIONAL ACCOUNTS
Derek Groth
Mr Groth has over 20 years in the communications industry. His experience includes working directly with Telephone, Long Distance, Wireless, Cable TV, and Digital TV companies including fiber build-outs to both residential and business developments. He joined MP Nexlevel in 2009 to work directly with the various stimulus projects, national accounts, and assist in the development of other business opportunities.
DIRECTOR OF SAFETY AND HEALTH
Lynnea E. Sjoquist
Lynnea has over 25 years experience in Construction safety. She also spent 10 of those years in project management, so she knows that production need not be sacrificed for safety. Lynnea leads a team of safety professionals providing guidance to our windfarm projects as well as our aerial and underground construction groups.
DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
Don Chewning
Don Chewning has over 37 years of construction experience working primarily in the electric utility industry. He received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in 1972 and an MBA from the University of Houston in 1983. Don was formerly with CenterPoint Energy for 30 years where his last assignment was Department Manager of Central Metering and Contractor Services. He was a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves before retiring in 1998.
